I have the 2.5 amp Bosch and its been great. Original blade was pretty good, and bought the Rigid holiday multi blade pack and they seem to be high quality as well.

Those Bosch blades look great, but I just checked Google and all that's coming up is the video. Have the blades actually been released yet?:headscrat
Monte is in Germany, so happens to be Bosch.

They were announced in the US a week ago or so. Often Bosch tools are announced and released in Germany, or even in the whole continent, before being announced in the US.

Brits & Germans were using the L-BOXXes for years before any Americans knew Bosch would bring them here.

I just bought the Milwaukee m12 multi tool to help cut some trim as I installed a door. Its a great tool. Don't know how I ever lived without it when doing odd projects around the house. The Milwaukee feels like a solid robust tool. Highly recommend.

i 2x that !!

In the video they mention Fine Homebuilding magazine which is a US publication. Apparently the editors must have already received some of the blades.

That's usually the case, yes. Magazines get review samples before they're widely available. They have to have some edge to stay in business, that's often what it comes down to. I'm sure some testers have had the M12 Fuel drivers for close to 6 months by now. Still not in stock in any HD near me.

This is the article I read last week announcing it.

I have one of the HF tools for several years now. Didn't use if much the first couple of years, but once I did I found all kinds of uses for it.

You won't regret if you spend the money for a Fein Multimaster. They are the original and best by far. I'm NOT a "tool snob" but I've seen, handled, and used most of them and the Fein is so far above the rest there is no comparison. :)

X2 on this. Before buying the Fein, I used the Milwaukee, Bosch, most of the Asian. The Fein just felt better, cut faster.

I bought the corded model, as I've sworn off adding yet another expensive, certain-to-die battery which will be obsoleted while the tool still works.

Yes, the multi-tool is a genius device and does things no other tool will do. Now, if those tiny little blades weren't so damned expensive!

btw. blades...

Fein just has reworked their "E-Cut" blades so they now directly fit on other brands like Bosch etc.
