Do you guys go with your OEM multitool blades, or are there any aftermarket compatible brands you've had good luck with?

Ridgid brand blades are $17. On amazon, a ridgid 2 pack is $20.

But there are a lot of aftermarket brands that are around $3-$5 per blade. Are any of these worth a try?

I have a Rockwell tool, but I use Bosch blades. They're kind of the standard.

Cripe had some really cheap not too long ago.

ive yet to find a decent cheap Bi metal blade that doesnt blunt as soon as you touch metal......

bulk buying bosch blades seems to work out the best - they last a good while longer than the cheapos - so dont use as many for a job - and dont waste as much time changing them out part way through a cut.

i found out as i have the bosch blue tool and it came witha heap of blades and i didnt understand at first why my blades were blunting much quicker than the original.

used to have the same issue with my recip saw - the cheap blades were just ****.

finally got some titan blades for it and they are much closer to the real deal than the cheapos id tried which made hard work of the butter for my toast.

be interested to hear if anyone has found anything significantly cheaper than the bosch blades that comes close.

The relatively new Bosch OSC114C blade has carbide teeth, so it should last much longer than other bi-metal blades.

Is it? There's the asterik next to Fein and Versa Tool says those came in a 3-pack.

I looked it up on Amazon which is where they said they sourced it. the 3 pack is like 34 bucks, so they just divided the total by 3, to give the price for 1 blade. So yea the bosch would still win assuming that test and whatever magazine it was in is not bias.

Yeah they just listed the price per blade that came out of a 3 pack.

I have only ever used Bosch Mutli-tools and Bosch blades. I am happy with them on everything I've used them on.

Look for the carbide tipped blades from Bosch and Dremel. Stuey (toolguyd.com) did some comprehensive testing comparing several blades and this is the only type that came out the other side without being destroyed in the process. Seems titanium blades are worthless in this type of tool, too.
