I have a set of the OTC tools ... wondering the same thing ... how do they work?

I've got the similar lisle one I got years ago. Maybe used it about 3 times. Pocket screwdriver works just as well.

I also use the Alexander made Snap on pocket screwdriver on automotive electrical connectors every working day, with no problems.

I wish they would make a tool for the 90's and 2000's Nissans with the green push to lock tab.

They work on certain older connectors. Most of the time, the loop is dry and brittle from age and breaks off anyway. Normally, I forgo hunting for the tool and use a screwdriver anyway.
