Okay, is there something that i'm missing that would make a person pay $500 or whatever more for the Autel. Yes its wireless, but anything else? Mostly working on domestic.

The tpms autel add on is mainly for their sensors, a standard 906 can still get data, relearn systems and write IDs. That brings about 250 off the price of the autel.

I have a 906, am very pleased with it. I have not been impressed with otc scanners in the past, and avoid the company when I can due to previous warranty and support issues. If you would like more detail, I can elaborate when I'm home with a real computer.

Where can you get a new Encore for $750?

Someone local to me has one for sale. Claims it was never registered. obviously I would go with the Autel if they were almost the same price.

What about a Autel DS808? It's wired and not as advanced from a hardware standpoint (little smaller, no cameras, etc) but the functionality is supposed to be the very similar to the 906 and the price point would be the same as the Encore. https://bestobd2scanners.com/autel/maxidas-ds808-review/

I don’t know the answer but I suspect the question would be keys. The Chinese don’t care about the NASTF VSP. The Germans ostensibly do.
