Can anyone tell me if you can use all of the functions on the encore after your subscription runs out? I am not looking for an 1500$ Code reader if that is all it will do after my year runs out.

Maybe I should look for something else?

I stopped re-upping my subscription 2 years ago and at that time you were just **** out of luck for the ability to upgrade in the future once you let it slip. Things may be different now.
