hey all im a long time visitor and finally decided to join.

I have what I am told is an older OTC floor jack that needs some TLC.

There is no markings on it anywhere that I can see, how can I/we ID the floor jack so i can get the correct rebuild kit and new piston pump for it.

Thanks

Just your run of the mill import, very possible that OTC might have sold it, maybe give them a call if your trying to secure a "kit" I can tell you right now, that pump piston will need some work, the rod surface is rough, Might want to inspect internals before Even thinking about a seal kit.

aww not what i wanted to hear it looks like it could be an OTC 1504. It was used in a heavy equipment shop so i doubt there was any maintenance done to them.

When you mean inspect do you think i need a full disassembly or will an oil flush do?

I would DEFINITELY tear the Hydraulic Unit down to inspect the Cylinder bore, It appears that it has been subject to some damp conditions, The Pump Rod marks indicate that it was in storage for a bit, With the Handle in the UP position as you can see the difference on the Rod.
