I see a lot of posts about Rotary, Mohawk, Bendpack and others but everywhere I go in this area I see Challenger lifts. Is there just a REAL good salesman in this area for them or are they a good lift?

A buddy of mine has had one in his shop for a lot of years without any problems that I know of. His has an ALI certification and seems to be very well put together but I don't think I have ever seen a thread on them here.

I too don't much see posts on or about Challengers.

Challenger, IIRC, is from Louisville, KY, American Made, I have a 12k 4 post, its very well built. Most of the Challengers I come across in the midwest are at new car dealers. If they are buying them, its usually on group buys from through the franchise, I doubt they would be buying junk.

Mine is built from channel and plate, with leaf chains. Ive installed several lifts, worked under and around several others, some where cheap lifts and I do know the difference. Id buy another, Ive also owned a Mohawk... Id put it one notch bellow a Mohawk. I also bought a Ammco 12K 4 post, I think it was made in Chicago, that was also a very well built machine.
