Picked this up today and am planning a minor restoration. I plan on using it and am not real worried about going back to original look, but still something that fits that era. If anyone has any color suggestions, I'd be interested to hear them. We always used to paint our old machines the traditional green or gray but I was actually thinking a hammered type cast iron dark gray color. Can't decide.

I got it for 40 bucks. I was wanting a drill press for the garage but didn't have much money and couldn't bring myself to go HF. This thing works & just needs to be cleaned up a little so I'm happy. Plus I'm sure it'll go another 50 years if it's treated right.

black or a dark grey hammer tone would be really cool, espically if you then paint the lettering on it in a gold or silver color
