I was about 50 miles from home and spotted a snappy truck. Remembering I had a floppy FX936 flex head ratchet in the glove box I stopped to see if he had a repair kit in stock. He did and went ahead and repaired the ratchet while we talked about the weather and such.

I realize the repair should be covered under warranty. But I have never bought anything from him and I will never have a chance to in the future. I was ready to pay for the kit but he was not having any of that. No charge, covered by warranty and that was that. No further discussion would be entertained!

Thank you Snappyman!

Mine is at the beach. His buddy came by today to collect money, though. He did try to sell me a KRL1023 last week however... even though I'm making the last payment on my KRL722 that I bought in February next week.

I also have the slim light, I really like it but it doesn't get used near as much as my craftsman $7 light

I need a new light. My old blue point led rechargeable drop light is starting to go less and less on a charge. It was almost all day...then it was till lunch...now its about 1 or 2 hours tops.
That and that little 3/8 7.2 volt impact would match up nicly with the screwgun I already have...

Nothing this week. Paying down a $400 bill at the moment. When I get him down to about 100 bucks I'll buy something else.

I just got my FAR7200 air ratchet back from the rebuilder on Monday, works great finally. The dealer I see is trying to be bought out by Snap On and he won't quit, been a dealer for 21 years.Had a problem with the district rep and was not happy with Snap On what they were doing to him, this has been resolved laid to rest.Plus he won't repo a good customer's toolbox, air compressor and a couple pieces of equipment.Snap On has told him to do this. This customer owes $5,000.00 and has been in and out of the hospital for medical problems.
