Nice place, I saw a young girl driving a Caddy like that flying down the highway. Across the back was written "She's all couped up"

A few photos of the new fence we put up the other day. As I have just sold our custom Dodge we can now get the upstairs complete.

Thanks Simon, but the fence was easy to put up ,it just clicked together no nails etc.dug the holes with a post hole borer and ramed them in . the post have the holes drilled in them to accept the rails, they can turn in the holes.

Every time I see pictures of New Zealand, it makes me miss it so much. My wife and I have been there twice, and have put over 11,000km on rental car's touring the North and South Islands.

This is a great build in a fantastic location, thanks for sharing!

Hell, Ray--Nobody tells me anything. Even Golly and Jeana are too busy destroying Inglewood to fill me in. In my defence--Last time I saw the Chief was when he was cutting the roof off the 57 Olds to put it in the container.....Almost 30 years away now, and the trips home I do are to check on my Mum. Hope to make it up your way next year, if everything goes as planned. Any more progress on the Shed? Have you seen Scotty and Delwyn--don`t tell me if they are divorced as well.....!!!

Just stumbled on to this thread, but I was looking at the foundation pictures & i'm wondering why people don't remove all the top soil before pouring a slab ? Top soil doesn't compact like clay ! so when you drive heavier things on the slab it's going to crack sooner or later. My dad built a garage that's been up for 20 + years & there is not 1 crack in it anywhere !

Man, I love your place...brings a new meaning to " where did your grow up...in a barn?" If I ever get a chance to rebuild....this is just what I'll be thinking about.

were we live there is a big gravel shelf only about 24inchs under the top soil so they took that of and filled it back up with gravel.there is 2 layers of gravel one coarse and they top it of with a fine lot.thank you for your reply Ray
