Hey, new members here, two 16 year olds that enjoy drag racing, etc. Located in Columbus, Oh. And also have a few race cars and currently doing bodywork on a '69 Cougar XR7 for a friend. And have a 20 x 20 garage plus an add-on in the back. The back room is 20' wide, and 8' deep.

Past month or so we've been trying to clean up the garage some and organize more. All the cabinets are cleaned out. The bench is cleaned off from the paint. And been hauling off all the junk. This past weekend we built 2 corner selfs in the back. 1 to hold the tv and the other one for misc stuff. Will try to get some more pics up also.

Yup, that's a workin' garage. I see the body filler and grinding dust all over the place :lol_hitti

Mine looks like that every two-three weeks in the spring and summer. In the winter I don't do much of that work. Clean up is a real b#tch

EDIT -- Sorry -- welcome to the board

WTF :wtf: - You call THAT a Garage worthy of Garage Journal???

Well - Effin' eh - I DO!!! Totally reminds me of the place I had in University. I was working PT at a bodyshop and 'borrowing' supplies to build a 71 Cuda! I had to run an extension cord from the house (OK the neighbours house ;)). I had three things plugged in - my halogen work light, a space heater pointed at my *** and whatever tool I was using - drill, grinder, welder....all borrowed from friends or rented for the weekend.

It's not the space - it's what comes out of it - including the memories.

Have fun - and welcome!!!

If a person doesn't stay on top of cleaning a garage they can be a bear. That looks like my first garage. I've since gotten into the habit of putting all stuff away before ever hitting the house. It makes it easier than working for a week to straighten it out. But welcome to the board. Glad to see young members and more pics are a definate must

BTW....better get a brace under the countertop. Looks like it might have a wee bit of belly to it. :lol_hitti

Welcome aboard - I like the seats lined up at the front - like ready for a lecture or a good Arny flick!

Welcome

What part of Ohio are you from?

And we'll put two 2 x 4's in the middle. It's been up for a few years lol.

Friday we will take the day off on that Cougar we are doing. So we are going to clean up the mess in there right now and get the 2x4 thing done. And practice some pistriping.
