We had a new house built last summer, it is a pole barn house, 40 x 48 garage with three 10 x 10 doors, and 1500 square-foot, 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom house.

here are some pics, the house is 40' wide by 38' deep plus the mud room, laundry room and mechanical room is in the stall closest to houses, but our 3/4 ton crew cab still fits in that stall easily.

We wanted the garage deep enough to keep our BBQ vending trailer hitched to the truck if we wanted to.
