first off I want to say we had the building and concrete done by contrators.3 amish boys spent a total of 24 hours to erect the building and hang all doors and windows.

OK on to the inside.this is a pole frame building .my plan was to make it somewhat like a timber framed building on inside leaving all posts and beams exposed. I started by sanding down all the posts and rounding over the edges. then stained them. after I had all my electric ran( I have a lot of) I boxed in the 2 ,2x10 that sandwiched the posts at the top with 1x10 pine sanded, rounded over and stained.

next was the walls & ceiling.I am using 7/16" OSB on both .I like better than drywall .it costs almost half & I can put a screw were ever I want. we painted all the sheets on the floor before puting up . mostly because ididnt want to mask all that stained wood and its just easier. it is a little time consuming ,I am pre drilling all screw holes.by the way we used zinsers prime all 2 worked very well.well enough to call finished.

I think using the posts as accents was a really good idea...might steal as use as my own since I'm still trying to figure out what the inside of my build will look like.
