The red '67 is a Daily Driver. Wife is not too happy about not having a garage. "She'll get over it".

I was surprised too, but we do spend lots of time in the garage working on our cars, so maybe I shouldn't have been.

I like watercooleds as well. But definitely prefer the older models more than the new stuff, but they are all quality cars.

3rd Brake light is out of an Ford ****** with a little rework done to it. Shame it didn't do it's job, we were rear ended sitting at a light about 2 weeks after the build.

Holy Schnikee's - I had one of these in the Marine corp and drove it all the way home to Houston straight to my GF's house... went back outside to leave and the Clutch Cable broke. All the way from Cali to Houston and one more press on the clutch and "snap"... was that good timing or what???

Would love a bug some day. My dad was into VW's he had a hot 58, a 61 Bus,? year p/u with a canvas top, a 69 fastback and a crew cab late sixties?
My daughter had this for a while (till the engine went)
