The crossing of the Canadian/US border is a major hassle...

A major expensive hassle...

You've probably done the "smart" thing...

Let us know how the box works out...

Personally, I opted for 2 of the HF (US General) 26" boxes, which I keep side-by-side. I only have 1 or 2 tools that are too wide to fit in the boxes, but most wide tools can fit inside the lid of the top box, if not in one of the drawers, or diagonnally. I'm VERY happy with these boxes, and between the two of them, there is a LOT of storage capacity.

Uncle ben,

that is a nice box , I would have looked into harbor freight but we do not have that store in Canada. the closest thing we have to them is Princess Auto. But they stock cheap low grade tool boxes

Im located in Canada and we don't have harbor freight or o'reilly's. we've got sears, home depot, lowes and Costco. that sell international tool boxes that I know of. the biggest bummer is that none of those suppliers have them in store to physically look at . only online

This has been bothering me! I'm looking at the 27" SPG International boxes and I'd like to be able to feel them in real life. I'd like to feel the difference between the Value Series and Professional.

Also - have you noticed the price difference? I find this funny.

27" SPG International Pro Series from HD - 439.99

Same box, rebranded as Craftsman Professional - 799.99

The Craftsman Pro series boxes are at most Sears stores. Look for the black boxes with the huge *** Craftsman logo. Still kicking myself for not grabbing the 56" Pro series combo when it was $1000 especially after the C$ has tanked. The HF 56" combo will be $150 more than it was 2 months ago.
Also funny is that the Craftsman 56" is more $$$ in the US than in Canada.

Ok guys ! Well it finally arrived today !. I am completely satisfied with this box. Its well built, Really heavy ! and has quality rubber drawer liners. luckily no damage from shipping. The box was ordered straight from spg international in Québec Canada. Costco is just the middle man. but it only tool 2 1/2 weeks for delivery. I am having trouble uploading multiple pictures for some reason. I will post either a video or more pics when I get this figured out !

Might as well mute the audio. There is stupid talk/news radio playing in the back round
