fun read, I know the area well, lived in St Cloud for 15 years and spent many days around Albany
Thanks !! They came from a fellow GJ'er. He had them on a S/C'd Buick Regal that ran 11's and I pestered him enough until I made them mineLove the jeep, those rims really make it stand out!

Gonna wrap a cable around the bottom and pull. It should collapse and fall away from the pull tractor. I've got a buddy that has a tractor pull tractor that runs in the unlimited class and am trying my best to have him hook on to do the honors. The tractor has 5 blown 572's putting down something stupid like 6,000hp so it should be able to pull it over I thinkHow's the silo coming down? We'll need a video of demo.

Good times will be had by all. All are welcome to attend the silo downing party when it happens.

That is probably what is going to happen. His sponsors said no way in hell was he going to pull a silo over. Boo.Bah. All you need is a sledgehammer for that silo.![]()

That's funny. I usually take a smaller tractor that is lighter and mow all the rest down that we can't get at with the larger equipment. I don't think I have OCD but I do like things looking neat, especially when they're out by the road and others can see them ;+)Lucky you dont have OCD. What with all the time you take to cut it down, put it into rows, bale it up, stack it out of the way. Now the paddock looks neat, next time you look down there it has grown again, ........get out the slasher.
AND I had a Coors Latte in a wine glass. Wonderful Day.

It's classy'er than an 02' Buick that runs 11's.
Just sayin' ....
I can send you some aloe if that burn was too serious.
Well today was the day the foundation for the grain bin got prepared. This is by far the larges hoe that's ever been on our place to date.

They had to dig out five feet on the high end and three feet on the low end to hit undisturbed ground. 30 loads of fill were brought in and packed down with one of those waffle maker pattern compactors. As I looked at the compactor all I could think about was how many rocks I could push down in the field

And some more progress on the bus. I purchased some alum diamond plate to cover up the rear four windows on each side. $25 per 4x8 sheet ... not bad. They have water damage but are going to be painted over anyway so yay for me. Cut them in half and away we go ! !

I would love to find 4x8 alum diamond plate for $25. I want to cut it to 4" x 8' strips to make base board.
