Does anyone have any experience of Outboard Motor Scan Tools?
I have recently been working a lot on outboards and would like a scan tool to read the codes etc on the more modern ones but quite often one customer will have two or three different brands of motor so I don't want to have to pay the OEMs for their software unless I really have too. Is there after market scan tools or laptop software systems that cover most of the big brands? For instance yesterday my customer had two Yamahas, a Tohatsu and a Mariner. Others have had Honda and Yamaha mixed stock.
