Outdoor Caulk Recommendations

Looking for some general paintable outdoor caulk recommendations. Dealing mostly with wood to wood gaps (some wood to masonry) and looking for a good quality caulk that is easily smoothed/blended with the adjacent boards. I've used mostly the DAP 230 and it never really lasts, it seems to shrink a lot and peel back even before its time to repaint again. I've had good luck so far with OSI Quad, but you can't really move it around once it comes out of the tube.

Any good recommendations?

I've had good results with the dap 230.

Is everything clean and primed before you caulk?

Cleanish, not dirty but it's not wiped with a solvent or anything. Not primed, it usually has paint on it. Probably not ideal conditions but I'm not stripping paint to recaulk.

What specifically are the joints?

May need to be fastened better if it's experiencing to much movement

Quad OSI is what they sell around here. Polyurethane based, tools and cleans up with mineral spirits. Holds up for years. If you can't find your color, you can paint over it.
