I have 2 500 watt halogen floods on the front corners of the house
Want to replace with Leds
Would like something that goes out pretty far (150’ maybe)
Saw this one on amazon
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073VL6NM4/?tag=atomicindus08-20
Comments/criticism about it or other suggestions
Other question what is the brightest bulbs you can get for a regular 2 bulb flood
This is the best one I can find

A quick googling suggests a 500W halogen flood is ~7000 lumens. I think the screw-in lamp will be disappointing.

EDIT: I missed your link on the first read thru.

Wasn’t going to put screw in fixtures where the halogens are
I have a couple screw ins in the back and side of house that I would replace with led lamps

Are you trying to incapacitate incoming intruders with lumens alone?!?

That link will def be bright....

LMAO!! Ard

It’s probably 200’ to the dirt road

It’s all woods around me and only 2 other neighbors that use that road

The road dead ends 200’ to the right of my house standing on front porch

Pretty secluded

We have 2 dogs that stay inside and half the day

They are bulldog/beagle mix

When we let them out when it’s dark we want to be able to see them

The dark brown one (Clyde) has more beagle trait so he’s always on some kind of track and he’s hard headed as sh|t

Invisible fence with shocking collar doesn’t phase him

When he sets his mind to something he will just take the zap

I also have 5 beagles in a pen beside the house and when they bark something is out there and I want to be able to see what it is

Hyperikon 70w LED...awesome. Amazon.

I have about 8 or 9 of these around shop and in trees. Had problem with one about 3 years after I bought it. Emailed them to see if they had a part I could buy...nope...sent me a whole new unit, overnight...no questions...

6000 lumens...

200w -- 20k Lumens .. is a lot. Looks to be about 2x what you have now.

I still have some 250w old style red dot halogen floods at one place .. I don't use them very often so there is no point in changing. But, they throw off a lot of light from one spot ... I have them up high ....

The current light you have must blind if you are out in the yard by the house ?

The LED's look to be twice as bright ..........

That Amazon link sure looks amazingly bright. Would like to hear how it works out for you if you grab those or whatever you decide on installing.

I see what your problem is.. you have Beagles... there's no cure to the barking or chasing till you no longer have the Beagles..
put LED collars on the Beagles and you can see them as they run thru the woods..

don't concern yourself with what they are barking at.. it's probably just a skunk and they'll find it without the lights.
