The RAB FL series (FL1, FL2, FL3, and FL4) are fantastic lights, but they're just that... a light. You'll need a motion sensor or photocell or a switch of some kind to control the light.
I've installed quite a few of them. The latest was an FL4 mounted 20' off the ground for my mechanic. Lights up his yard and the neighbors field quite nicely.

Decided to go with two Ring floodlight cams. Big fan so far. Only “complaint” is the delay when u open the app

I have this under the corner eave of my garage pointing at the driveway and alley, I love this flood for the Dualux technology... it features two-level lighting; at dusk, the light automatically turns on to an adjustable low ambient light, keep the neighbors from complaining a light is on all night and it is too bright.... and then it brightens to 100 percent when it detects motion for added security.
