Outdoor lift?

As we design our new garage / shop, I've had the thought of putting one of the two lifts outdoors. I've seen this at a few shops, and thought it might be nice. Of course, we have great weather almost year round here in Sonoma county.

Wouldn't be able to be used much of the year here in Maine. But I'd like all the natural light that you'd get from it. (If the sun wasn't blinding you)

When I go to redo my driveway and side access yard, I plan on adding a couple of mounting pads for the MaxJax portable lift I have as an alternative mounting point.

Sounds like a plan, I would still recomemd a car port style metal parking roof or something. Atleast for the shade; for you and for the lift.
