With fall here and winter right around the corner I want to put up a light post at the end of my walkway where it meets up with my driveway.
I live in a 160 year old farm house so I want to make something that looks the part.
I am thinking of making something either from 4x4 treated wood or large NPT pipe to make it look kinda rustic. I already have one of these on the outside of my shop with an LED light and I like it, puts off just enough light.
Maybe an 8' post with a 2' piece then hang one of these vertically?

I am open to ideas, just want something I can whip up in a couple hours though.

My Menards has a pretty good display of these.
Also has a display of post top lights where you supply the post.

That is a pretty awesome yard sale find.
My wife is away Saturday, so I figured I would try to put something nice together as she would benefit the most from it during winter.
