Outdoor reset sensor location

So I didn't plan ahead for a outdoor reset sensor location for my electric boiler/in floor heat. In Manitoba Canada.

Boiler is on south wall. North wall has a 16" exhaust fan directly across. Ceiling is finished and insulated with blow in cellulose.

What should I do for placement? Cant go up into attic and across.

Would soffit level on south wall do, or get it to North wall and stay 6-8' away from exhaust fan?

All I did with mine was make sure it was in the shade. even a little bit of elevated reading wouldn't matter to my setup (multi-stage FCU). I need the outdoor reset more avoid being blasted with crazy hot vent air when it's mild out - it becomes massively oversized without the outdoor reset.

Any chance you have outdoor AC and spare conductors on the voltage cable to the outdoor unit?

I had a house where we had to do this for the outdoor reset probe for a steam humidifier.

Sensor is placed on the north side to keep it out of the sun as to not have it getting a false reading.
