Outdoor Stain or Paint for Patio

I am looking to either stain or paint our patio. The problem that I see with acid stain (I've used Kemiko twice in the past) is that the patio is made up of three concrete sections that were poured at three separate times over the past 10 years which I think would definitely show due to the transparency of the stain. I found a product below which sounds like what I would need. Can anyone chime in with a similar experience or suggestions?

No expri nice but I think I'd vote for the stain.
