I have a pole barn about 150' behind the house. High at the gable end I have a halogen spotlight that is controlled by a switch in the barn. So if I'm coming or going to the barn in the dark I have to use a flashlight. Out in the country so its pretty dark. I don't want to put a typical pole light that works on a sensor, cause it would be on all the time, which I don't want. I would like a high intensity LED spot or flood light, to help light my path, that I could control to turn on or off with my phone. Been doing some searching, but can't seem to find anything like that. Does it exist? Thanks.

Unless you really want to replace the light, just get a "smart" switch and swap out the one in the barn. I've had good luck with both Kasa and TP-link, they both have their own apps or can be integrated into google home or alexa.

Just double check the temperature rating of the bulb will work in your climate. I had one that would not work in freezing temperatures. Sure enough when I checked the operating temperature spec it was 0 to 40 C.

Ring makes a wired floodlight without a camera. It’s about $70. Of course they make a floodlight with a camera too.

My outdoor lights are on Leviton smart switches. They are WiFi controlled via an app.
