Mine is easier than fussy organized, it's extremely ergonomic. The organize is "different ".i will buy anything to make it faster and easier too, can't suffer from.second rate either. It's got to work well and be reliable. We really tailor to the regular constant tasks, I will make do on exotic one off jobs but something routine I fuss over the details if it makes a difference.
I also find myself falling back to some more simple things, a lot of them after a bit I find I like as well or better or have a system of standardization or duplication. I tried some HF screwdrivers a while ago and when someone mentioned or gave me a push I bought 15 new, I actually like them at least as good as the Klein. There is nothing wrong with the Klein , there is nothing wrong with the Snap on I own but I don't find myself reaching for them first.
It isn't that I settled for cheaper, that is a bonus, I find I like them as well. Bought 8 new utility knives due to feeling like a vacuum, it's not better but more. I need about 2 more Channeloks 440, the frequency is so high that convenience is paramount. There might be a pliers better, I am not sure but some of these same for a lineman I can feel difference and am so used to 1000s of cycles with them they are predictable.

I like channellock screwdrivers and pliers.

Most of us buy what we need, when we need it. That's been a mixture of Sears and HF for me.

There are a lot more brand names available today than there was 15-20 years ago. I think that's the main reason we see some many "what to buy" threads.

Hell, I couldn't have told you one German or Japanese tool brand name before I joined this forum.

It really comes down to what motivates you and what your priorities are. Are you a perfectionist or is "good enough" good enough.

Neither view is right nor wrong. And plenty/most of people fall in the middle. Certainly not worth getting into a urination match over.

Perhaps the best example is a rifle. Many people think that a rifle which can only put 3 shots in a 3 inch circle at 100 yards is hopelessly inaccurate. They want all 3 shots in .50 inch. Me - I don't see the need for anything better than 3 inches and probably couldn't even do that with the same rifle that someone who is a better shot could use to shoot within that .5 in circle. But that's just me and plenty of others disagree strongly.

Certainly no reason to get angry or lose friends over.

Here's the thing, my "good" tools are at home in the various tool boxes.
My cheap HF/Home Despot tools are in cat litter buckets in the box in my pickup.
I beat them, drop them, and loan them to morons who abuse them in ways I couldn't imagine.
They still get the job done.
Get the tools you NEED, then get the tools you WANT.

It's super smooth to use and putting back is so easy. I only got to get close and most of it is within reach. It's easy for others to get back. Don't have to guess as to which drawer it's in.
