So I had an excavator here so I dug some trenches.
I put a 14/2 (direct bury) in conduit and ran it out to where I want an outlet and a motion light on a pole.
I'll protect this with a gfci breaker, in use cover etc.
It's 150' away from the house and I want to put the same 14/2 in conduit and have an outlet inside the structure.
Does this need to be protected at the structure or can I protect with only a breaker back at the panel. If I have to put in a subpanel I'll probably just put an outdoor outlet next to the coop and continue using extension cords.
At best, can I mount the outlet to the coop on the outside or would it have to be on a post not attached to the structure?
