Outlet room

I have a double outlet under the microwave shelf in our kitchen. The micro and the toaster oven run off of it. I would like to perhaps add a set of led pucks under the micro shelf. I don't have worry that it will overload the circuit, as they pull barely anything. But I'm not sure how to best physically tackle this safely. The multiple outlet things are an option, but I am uneasy about that with higher load appliances plugged into them. Any simple solutions? I'm not new to wiring, I just don't have an answer to this one.

They now sell LED under counter lights that run on batteries. Either motion detector on/off or remote control.

Man that is new to me too! I love it!
I have the battery ones now, and battery life both in the pucks and the wireless remote for them hasn't been too good. We like to run those under cabinet led's as a night light in the kitchen, but that doesn't fly with the battery ones.
