Outlet wiring question

Have you tried the tester on a known good outlet?

I checked 4 other outlets with the plug in tester, 1 in the garage, 3 in the house all tested good (2 green lights).

Its going to be Sunday earliest before I can work on the well house again.

Hot to ground SHOULD read 120v

Do you have a multi-meter?

Test neutral to ground. Should be 0v

then test Hot to neutral. should be 120v

Have you tried the tester on a known good outlet?

The latest tests are attached. The most current reading as in the bold squares. I plugged in a circular saw and the outlets seem to work as they should.

As mentioned I checked 4 other outlets with the plug in tester and it read correctly on all of them. But on the well house outlets it reads "open hot". Any ideas as to why that would be?
