Thanks, its alot more enjoyable when you can sit and tell stories about building it all yourself.(while drinking beer!!) The only thing hired out so far was the foundation walls, because they did it as cheap as I could rent the forms, and having all the soffits done with coil metal. I should have a floor in it by next week.

Very nice garage. What size garage doors did you go with?
Ceiling height? Did you use attic trusses?

I used 2 16x8 doors, finished ceiling height should be about 11ft. I wanted the attic trusses but just couldnt justify the cost. They were over 110 dollars more apiece(24 of them). When I worked it all out between subfloor for the attic, truss cost and things like the stairs. I would have been well over 3500 to 4000 dollars. I also have an attached oversize 2 car garage if they are both full I have to much junk!!! Just didnt think it was worth the cost. I can build a seperate pole barn for that kind of money.
