Outside Decoration

We are going to be building a 40x80 garage this spring. It will be a little bigger that our house...ok...about twice as big...anyway...I was just wondering if any of you guys have any sort of decoration around it, landscaping, etc. There will be a 20 foot area on the front that will not have a door. I was thinking about getting an antique gas pump (but not sure if I want to put it outside though) and maybe some old tin signs. I don't want it to look tacky but I think it will need something to tie it together. I really like antique garage/tool/gas station stuff but my mind is blank as to what to set up in that area. And pictures would be great!

I agree Old Gas is a really cool site . There's a whole sub-culture out there devoted to that stuff.

Here is a recent "night shot" of my garage, The Hot Rod Grille, showing my outdoor gasoline pump display, neon signs and other "decorations". Normally, my '34 Ford Coupe street rod sits on the 4-post lift, but it's currently in the paint booth, so the garage looks a bit empty!
