Outside is done other than gutters. Got the inside framed. I'm happy that it'll be done in a month. I am/was suffering from an illness and the first contractor I used did terrible work and ran off with a big chunk of my money, but that's another story. A fella( joe ) came in and tore everything down and started over. Happy with the results. Will fix the garage door when he gets to tinning the inside. Looking forward to getting in my new shop and out of the rental I had for 14 years. Been infested with mold for a long time. Gonna be great to do what I love and get healthy again. I was to sick at the time to do a great deal of research before I picked a contractor, still did some...it just wasn't hard enough digging. I realize now EVERYONE can get taken. When i would see stuff like that on the news I would say " how could they let that happen" and now I know. Most are sick and elderly people that just don't have the energy or feel terrible every day...or two weak to even get out of bed. God bless you Joe for taking over the mess and helping a fella out , your a great person. :)

Looks good. And I know about getting ripped off by a contractor.
Guys did a decent job on my siding. So I thought ok; I'll let them
fix my sidewalk. Put a deposit down and the guys never came back
to do anything.

Looks really nice. Sorry for the **** your contractor put you through. Most importantly is regaining your health. Hang in there. I think alot of people get taken advantage of at some point in their lives. I had a landscaper take a substantial upfront payment and take off never to be seen from again.

Fellas, thanks for the kind comments and the words of encouragement. I'll get thru the money situation even though I had to take another loan. It's just that I trusted the person and now I found out that he has cheated people out of millions. I may one day take him to court on fraud but instead of wasting 25k now, I thought I'd put in in my shop. I'll snap pics as I go. They put up the top ceiling piece all around the shop a couple days ago. They have a few other customers they are helping, so it's slow going as of late. Looks like weather won't permit to have insulation done for a good week or two anyway. I'd like to see electricians run wire in office and bath soon.

Sorry for your loss too... it isn't right for people to do that. Should be in prison. What's the difference from going into a bank and taking it than by taking it this way? It was against our will, just the same.
