Does anyone have recommendations for a area/flood light? I have two mounting locations 36 ft. Apart on each side of the house. and about 18ft high. Two different sides of house. One side is 100 x 100 then 120ft pier. Other side is 100 x 60 and don't want to blind the neighbors to bad.

Alot of them are combination area/floods now. They have a knuckle on the mounting arm so that they can be either horizontal (area light) or angled upward (flood light), like this one from TechBrite https://techbrite.com/outdoor/led-shoebox-area-light/.
18' isn't real high, so the lower powered ones would likely be best for you.

Depends what your budget is, we've had some good results with the bigger Loxa ones out in the rural parts.

The Lithonia flood from Lowe’s is pretty impressive for the price. I put one up on the back side of my barn and the area it lights is large for a 32W fixture. https://www.lowes.com/pd/Lithonia-L...White-Switch-Controlled-Floodlight/1000705952

I just use old school dusk to dawn flood light fixture with LED flood bulbs. Works fine, and with the LEDs leaving it on all night won't cost much I never liked the motion type lights.
