outside weather proof boxes

My house is vinyl sided and i want to put in 2 outside electrical plugs - - do they make a box that i can cut and install in the wall or do i have to remove all the siding? i know they make plastic boxes with wings/ears to use inside on remodeling projects but do they make them for outside,,,,, i guess what i am trying to say is can i put in these boxes or do i have to remove the vinyl?

I used some "Mountmaster" vinyl boxes which are available with & without integrated electric boxes on mine. Was super easy...literally just install on wall and vinyl around it. Once done just pop the trim ring on and voila...built in "J Channel" and everything. They were so quick and thoughtless...I completely forgot to install one of them LOL.

Keep in mind that whatever kind of box you go with will need an in-use(bubble) cover. The one Dave posted looks handy but still needs a bubble cover on it to satisfy code. If you don't mind a cover that sticks out another 2-3 inches that's a great option.

The boxes I linked to have an integral bubble cover and will be a little more flush with the siding.

There are several solutions for your situation. You can go with either

a surface mount, or flush mount w/p box, but as stated, you will have

cap it with a bubble cover. Bell covers are still available, if you don't

want the extra bulk of a bubble cover sticking out from the wall. (But

code does require a bubble cover for new construction.)

I almost went that way, but once I found these flush/flat covers I went with the mount I posted and this TayMac Cover:

I really didnt want to cut holes in my sheathing and fighting with that...this way here I could put the outlet wherever I wanted...with no concern about interior framing, etc..

The outside box is very common problem so that you have share a very nice waterproof box pic. But you install as is show in pic it will not save as you are thinking for more safety you need to fill its out side with silicone.
