Put a lock on it and use the extra space to hide stuff. Might not be code, but I'm thinking that isn't a big deal to you. I like it.

Nice, I've been wanting to get a smaller one for my compressor for some time now. Have just been using the breaker in the panel.

Good think you don't have a 25hp compressor, you would need an addition for the switch..looks cool, can only image what that switch cost new.

Not sure....like everything else I get it was a deal. This one came from Grainger new in the box..$25..it was a mis order...you should see the stuff they get rid of...unreal.

I used a smaller version on my lift. While there is no problem now eventually my son (just over a year old now) will start coming to the garage, wether i'm there or not. I like the idea of being able to close and lock it to prevent an accident. Hopefully he'll be able to be trusted to just leave it on but when their small sometimes safe is better then sorry.

I like it. I am thinking about a old "service disconect" switch for my main light switch.

Thats not a bad idea. I am in the middle of upgrading my house electrical service and I have two ancient G.E. service disconnects in my basement that won't be used after the change over. Would make for some pretty cool light switches.
