Overhead door mounting with metal ceiling?

I’m putting up metal on the ceiling of my shop and looking for ideas of attaching the door track hangers without doing a hack job on the ceiling metal. Was thinking of using 3/4” rod welded to angle iron to attach to the track itself, then run it up through a hole in the metal, and through a 4x4 that spans the top of 3 of the floor /ceiling joists to distribute the load, and then control side movement of the rod (and track) by securing the 3/4” rod to the side of the floor/ceiling joist. But sometimes (most times) I over think things, so any suggestions for a clean re-install of the door tracking?

I think you're overthinking it.
just re install what's there, in the same location, adjusted for the thickness of the panels.
cut a blocking to lay in the recesses . paint it white to blend it, or not
