Ok I have a 12 x 14 and a 9 x 7 overhead insulated doors on my barn...they open very easy but...im thinking about openers...best price I have received is for the small door 435.00 installed jack shaft opener due to the door track...
And 745.00 for a rail style on the big door...
Now is there any downside to putting openers on ? I may want to put a motorhome in the side with the large door will the opener hang down too far or any other reason not to ?
thx

The opener will not hang down lower than the door. You will be fine. The up side is that the doors will open exactly as far as you want them to, every time. As doors age, the springs lose a little tension and they can droop into the opening. Most of the time it would not matter, but with a motorhome that could be an expensive issue. The opener will be your friend. Prices are in line so go for it.

The only down side I can see is that the release cord is too short or when the power is out your wife or kids can't open the door.
