do they make something for garage doors for pest(mice or rats)rural area,dont want critters in my bldng.the strips that run up along side doors are a joke,one year they are already shot
The two things that are a constant battle in the door industry are, rain and critters! That product from northshore looks interesting, but that only deals with the bottom WS issue. I have seen Pack Rats chew thru the stop moulding, the trim around the opening as well as the 2x6 door jamb to gain entry.
Short of using reverse angle commercial tracks, I don't see any easy solution. Even then I think the little bastards will stil find a way in.
I have glue boards on both side of the garage doors to catch mice, scorpions, etc as they enter. Same for the other entry doors in the house. Even caught a gila monster one time. I had to use mineral spirits to set him/her free. But the rest of the critters get a trip to the land fill.
