hey there i am building a new shop and now is the time to pick my overhead door track type.

I will have 3 - 10x10 doors in a 12' tall wall BUT i have cathedral ceilings in the shop so in the center i have 14'.

So my question is what works best should i have them go up as high as possible then follow the cathedral ceiling 1' below so that i have room for lights OR should i just do a standard lift and have them level off at 11'?

below is a link to help you visualize what i mean.

Standard lift: https://cdn2.hubspot.net/hubfs/2029938/Architects-Specifications/standard-lift.pdf?t=1493220174932

cathedral ceiling lift: https://cdn2.hubspot.net/hubfs/2029938/Architects-Specifications/incline-pdf.pdf?t=1493220174932

the shop is 30 x 40 with the 3 overhead doors on the 40' wall the center door will have a 4 post hoist.

Let me know what your thoughts are.

thanks

Follow the slope.
The factory directions will give you room to use a normal track type opener.
