Chipmunks have chewed through the bottom weatherstripping on my door and i can't figure out how to repair it. It looks like maybe the material could slide in from the end, don't know if this would work or not. There is no way to access the screws that I can see. The little buggers have also chewed off the bottom of the brickmold.

The rubber piece slides out (left or right). The metal piece the rubber slides in is attached with screws to the door.

cut or remove old weather stripping
lay a piece of wax paper the length of your door on the floor and close the door.
mark the inner and outer edge of the door on the wax paper. weight the paper down so it will not move.
raise the door
get 100% silicon calk and place between your lines.
close the door and let set over night
open door trim excess wax paper
you have a water and air tight seal

Sometimes it seems the aluminum track ends get peened over by ? That makes sliding the I-shaped material (its curled into a C or U shape) out more difficult. Once you have a short sample of the material you can get a replacement coil. I'd recommend buying 1-2 feet more than you think you need.
Also, to mention if chipmunks are living inside, then its time for the peanut butter laced springy rat traps. If you repair it and they are trying to get "back home" you will be in the same boat again quickly.

Get an outdoor cat. Found packrat droppings when I bought my place. Got a cat from my neighbors, turned into a good garage buddy as well. Not afraid of scorpions either!
