Can you please give me a hand ?

I have -close to- a car + 1/2 deep / single car garage

I would guess it's approximately 24' x 14' with 9' ceilings

anyway

I want to add one more bright fluorescent light

The two I have kinda narrowed down are these:

a T5 (HO) 4 bulb / 54 watt unit

or

a T8 6 bulb / 32 watt unit

with my 9' ceiling, what's going to be the best light of the two ?

I'll be doing some automotive detailing (on the side) and want something that's going to illuminate my space.

TIA

If it is going to be used for detailing, and if it were me, I'd mount the lamps 18-24" from the top of the wall on each side to prevent some serious shadowing. Have a garage full of light. I ceiling mounted a T5HO 4 lamp in my garage recently to replace a T1296HO 2 lamp fixture. WOW bright..I used HO only because of wintertime cold here. I assume your going to be working in there for some time so the temperature shouldn't be an issue unless you open and close the big door frequently and have no insulation/heat in there.
