Overhead (roll-up) door?

I decided I want to install a roll-up door on my shop. The opening is 10' wide by 8' tall. I got a couple of quotes online, but I think the shipping may kill the deal, around $375 plus shipping. Are these better to get at a local dealer? I was going to call around today but got side tracked on other things.
I only open the big door 2 or 3 times a month, so it doesn't necessarily need to be industrial strength.
Also, it seems that install would be fairly straight forward. Anything to watch out for there?

I got a 6' w by 7' tall Clopay at Home Depot delivered for less than $300 total, it's aluminum and was a cinch to install on my shed.

If you wont to cool or heat it I wouldn't get one. My door has a big gap by the header that lets lots of air threw and on the sides.

Mine used to suffer from that too.. the fix is the brush-like strips that the heavy trucks use as liners on their wheel arches. They have clips which hold the brush strip, trim it to length roughly, fit it and then trim more accurately. Works a treat and keeps most of the dust out.

Roll type doors have a gap at the header when closed. This is caused by the door roll getting smaller as the door goes down. One cure is (if you have the height) buy a door taller than the opening, then the door will always pass the header at a constant distance, probably a quarter to 3/8 inch all the way up and down.

Edit: you still have a gap, just a smaller gap. To close it, a brush or flap seal would be necessary, but this will rub the door all the way up and down.

I had this problem and THIS THREAD shows what I did about it and other things that can be done to resolve the problem.

curious why you didnt build the door in at 9 foot of set the door roll 5-6 inches away from the wall and run a 90 degree traack at the top to position it closer and seal?
i have been looking at adding a door to west side of my shop to allow access to the lift if i position it running with the trusses to allow me the lift height. a overhead track would limit where i could put it. so i figured my method above to get a better distance between the door and the wall.
