Supposed to be equal of Actron etc.

I have only used Actron and I prefer them for consumer (not professional) use.

The Cornwell I show above is supposed to be identical to the Actron CP9575.

Yet I don't find it in the Cornwell catalog.

Is it NOS? Or maybe a fake clone?

Anyone see it before?

Might as well just buy the cheapest you can find if all you want is a code reader.

Seriously think about getting yourself a true diagnostic tool, such as a Snap-on Ethos Pro or used ethos/solus. They will do so much more for you, and get into manufacture specific codes/data/resets/bi-directional controls that will allow you to fix todays cars.

Never seen it. The Ebay description also calls it an OTC3109. The 3109 is a current part number and you can find it at several online vendors.

On a side note Bosch owns OTC tools which also owns Actron. This is why you see the same platform sold under different brands. OTC makes stuff for most of the tool trucks.

If all you want to do is read codes or access generic OBDII data, you can't really go wrong with a less than $100 investment. It doesn't have bidirectional control (the ability to turn components on and off) but, that's what separates real scan tools from data/code readers.

I believe Cornwell phased these out in favor of Autel products but, that is just my opinion. The last time I can find the OWC9575 was in the 2011 Cornwell Tool catalog.

Got it and updated software on OTC site.

Tried it out on the 2002 Astro Van.

Amazing.

Has data and freeze frame etc.
