Now I own a old model Mac tool two jaw puller 13 tons as got it from eBay. I had to use it to pulled the fourth gear out of ford ZF 6 speed transmission. I had torn it down to see which gear was seized... It was due from low fluid that other tech did not check the fluid level before sent it out after pulled the 7.3L power stroke to do oil pan replacement and other gaskets...

My work has no pullers. So I had to bought it for myself which made me as largest puller in my work... One front end tech has a older model 7 tons two jaws puller but it is not reach enough....... I could ask my work to get it but problem is they would either don't buy or will order and take a times so I just got it for myself as ASAP.... But bad news is I had to sell a rebuilt transmission as cheaper to do instead sell over 3,000 dollars on just parts then have to add more for labors while rebuilt transmission go for 2,700 dollars plus labor to install....

I has lot of different pullers but not for long reach...... I had bought other OTC 2/3 jaws puller as 7tons that have three holes that ford rotunda show a lot of use on that one two jaw puller with three holes on... I prefer to have 2/3 jaws....

So let see what you do has ????

I don't have that much in the way of large pullers either. I did get this one a year ago or so. OTC brake drum/disc puller. It's a beast but still not long armed enough to pull the drums of my one ton van. ImageUploadedByTapatalk1361151942.700209.jpg

This older Armstrong-Bray puller is the largest in my lot:

Not much perspective in that photo, but the wood supporting the cutterhead is about 13" long. That puller, which I use more than I thought I would fills a drawer in my c-man tool chest. It came in a set with a cross bar and various lengths of arms and one giant bearing splitter:

And this is all those parts being used to press the bearing onto the other end of that cutterhead:

Thanks guys. I enjoy it. Its only drawback is the weight. The metal box that it all fits in is almost impossible to lift off the shelf.
