I've never heard of them. I suspect it's a marketing/distribution company for chinese produced tools. They could be fine, but the price is right up there with Empire levels which is a respectable brand. I also question if he has a use for a 72" level. A door hangers kit from Empire is a tad over $120 on Amazon if has need for that.

Thank you PBC!

I came up with Milwaukee and slightly second Stabila. But did find a few good reviews for Ox.

He does hang doors occasionally and I use my 6' level a lot, so that doesn't seem bad.

We have OX here in the UK as well, all Chinese or Taiwanese, mostly generic cheap stuff.

Their Levels are actually really good though, as are the narrow finger pointing irons.

The pro range of levels is what you want though, they have mirrors in so you can see the plumb vials from the front of the level, which is really handy if you're trying to plumb a wall.

No experience with OX. Empire has treated me well over the years. I've thought about stabila, but they make no sense for my needs. That said, i'll likely own one soon as I need a 6-7' level
