Can anyone tell me about a vice I picked up yesterday at a local
antique shop. I spotted it Saturday when I was out with my wife.
I thought about it over the rest of the weekend and decided Monday
to drive back down there and get it. It was originall priced at $18
and was marked down to $15.
It's smallish, the jaws are maybe 3 1/2" wide.
The name on it is Oxwall, has "Made in Japan" on it.
It looks old. I spent some time this afternoon using the Soda
Blaster to try and get all the old paint off. The original black paint
must be baked on, the Soda Blaster won't cut it.
I'll try some stripper tomorrow.
I have some before pix in my camera that I'll try to post later tonight.
Any idea when it may have been made?
