I wonder if the straight ones are not finished. Maybe did not get to the bending station!

Next are what looks like 3 socket wrenches that never received their bend.
I'd have to agree with you there. There are antique straight socket wrenches. I have some. But they typically have a socket on each end, and either a square shank for turning with a wrench, or a cross-drilled hole for turning with a crossbar.
Does anyone have pictures of the chronological forging process of a socket wrench like this being made?
The process for making the Gruber offsets I have is described in post #8 of the Gruber thread, X, and the bend came last. But those were hand forged from octagonal bar stock, upsetting the end twice, first to form the socket, and again to mill it. Then they bent the shank. Seems likely/logically the same for machine forged, to get to the state of yours, then bend last.

I picked up two P&C pieces at the local flea market Sunday. A N87 DBE and an open-end structural wrench. The structural wrench is marked with a P&C logo that ran off the edge, and 5/8, which is the USS size for the 1-1/16 opening.

I'm pretty sure that the structural wrench is a 907-S, which is the part number shown in the 1939 catalog. In the 1949 catalog, the number changed to a plain 934, and the bolt size was listed as 9/16" for some reason. I believe it is early because it does not have the pronounced flats at the bend that show up on the later version.

I picked up an old screwdriver that might be an early P&C example. The number 654 is legible, but I'm not sure about the P&C mark. It looks like their stretched hexagon logo shape in front of the number. Has anyone seen/found a clearly marked P&C screwdriver with this style handle? The one on top is the one in question. The one below it has a faint, but clear logo.

Any chance of some numbers off those screwdrivers? Also are any of the pipe wrenches the HD version?

You bet. I have gotten enough responses asking for some better photos. I will take some with tools laid out. I wasn’t trying to be a troll, just wanted to offer them to collectors on here before I have a tool sale.

Saukit is first in line for some dbe’s and a few other things. Jabberwoki has first dibs on the amber drivers if he wants them?

Combos- if you want to put together a set of wrenches, let’s talk but I am willing to sell individually to help fill holes-

1/4 and 5/16- these little dudes are $15 each. Not common to find!

3/8-15/16 are $2 each regardless of which series

1”-1-1/4- $5 each

I do have 2 100 series wrenches and 2 pretty early 3/4 wrenches

U joints- non plated and plated-$4 each
Sockets are .50 each except the more uncommon 32nd sizes! Those are $2 each or buy this whole lot for $20! Plated and non plated sockets, 100 series, etc so let me know if you are looking for a particular socket.

This is the last posting. I still have my screwdrivers and some dbe’s and other wrenches and am open to offers!

A few P&C goodies followed me home yesterday.
The notable find is not one, but TWO of the seemingly rare 1-3/16" half inch drive sockets. Found at 2 different tables, the first one, I asked the vendor how much and he says "dunno, how bout $0.50 but I don't have change". I tried to hand him a buck and he said "just take it". WOO HOO.

I still have to get posting lol. I bought the whole socket lots from Smokeshow69 and got the brake spoon, a large wrench and extension from him as well. I give him an A+ for packing and everything else too. Haven’t had a chance to sort all of the sockets yet but I will then show more closer pictures of all of them. Before this my P&C collection was small but now it seems huge LOL. Sorry everyone I seen those sockets and I’m like yeah I need them all lol.
