The T bar is mossberg. One of many tools that I don't know much about from a recent lot i picked up. The scaling might be hard in the picture but here's a midget T for comparison along with another semi mystery tool from snap on. Also I've come across a bunch of these style nut spinners/breaker bars just never seen a P&C one I haven't done much research into it yet though

Nice find there. The P&C don’t appear as often as others.

Lugz’ post prompted me to look back at my thread. It’s been several years since looking for them or adding to the collection. There were a couple found in the wild at swaps that never got posted to the thread.

On my bucket list for sure, I want one for my rig(s) for when I need to change tires in the field...
If you are referring to the P&C one I posted feel free to reach out. I try to only collect snap on so although I don't post things really for sale here I am selling anything I post that's not snap on

Nice speeder OTG. I need to find one of that vintage for the collection.

I did add this ratchet. 3/8 ”Jiffy” drive unit. It has a faint brand stamp on it as well. Looks over cleaned by a previous owner.

Circa 1929-1933 according to the catalogs available at pnctools. I love that site as a resource.

Either a model 3010 (‘30-33)or 0004 (‘29)which preceded it.
Don’t know which, or if they look identical, as no lengths were listed. Both were 3/8 female rats, prior to a later 30’s body shape change.

Excerpts from the 30-33 cats.

From the ‘29 supplement. The units shown below are 1/2 dr.. The 0004 was listed as similar but not illustrated.

Presumably from an early batch of the clik-stops. September 1957 date code, P&C with registered trade mark. Has anyone seen one with an earlier date code? Might help determine typical lag time between forging and stamping the adjustable wrenches in this era.

^ it's three catalogs with price lists, so it's really not that much out of line price-wise. are we sure none of this material is already available at ITCL? I just shot a message to Mark.

(you ALWAYS want to check with Mark first BEFORE you buy any catalogs on ebay - he might ALREADY HAVE IT and just hasn't gotten around to getting it scanned and uploaded yet. happened to me three times so far. always check first!)

Just pulled this long version of late 30's 1/2" drive ratchet. I can't remember coming across a pre Plomb long P&C before. The 30's Thorsen next to it in the last pic is a tough one too.

IMG_5893.jpegIMG_5895.jpegIMG_5894.jpegGot this socket today. My friend was clearing out his grandpas garage and brought in a tote of tools that we dug through. He asked to trade this for my chocolate muffin so I let him have my muffin lol. 1 inch 12 point deep. I think I came out on the trade pretty well. I didn’t want the muffin anyway lol 😂. There is a few other things I was interested in but he wanted to let his family have a glance first which is understandable.

1930 Ford rear main bearing wrench. Also an early Ford valve lifter from the same period just to the left of the box.

I was gonna let this slide but.....so there's an ebay auction ending tonight for a 29/30/31 ish ( not "early 20's") set that's up to about $93.00 as of this writing. Besides the cheesy AI assisted ( if you haven't sold on ebay lately and tested this AI feature, it's cringey) description I would think the seller might consider pulling out one of the supposed "diamond knurling" sockets out of the tray. Are ALL the tools really marked P&C as the description says?Obviously not. I see he added the "Hintsdale"[sic] note after I asked. To be fair, he started the auction really low, so maybe thought it wasn't worth much trouble but now I would think he'd want to cover the other issues. Best case it boosts the price, worst case he doesn't have some unhappy buyer. I know this seller has sold some sweet tools on the bay before so it's not like I'm pickin on some newbie.
