3/8 drive extension, right? I have one

P&C also made DBE wrenches for the Navy, marked with a N followed by a two-digit number.

This is a new one for me. A p&c wf marked tool. I find all kinds of plomb wf, but never a p&c. This one is a wf19 3/8” extension.

Saturday I stopped back at an estate sale I had attended Friday. It was the last day of the sale, and I was able to make a good deal on a pile of items. One was the box with this 1/4 dr. P&C spinner and sockets. I'm not sure if it is plain steel or badly worn dark oxide finish. Maybe wartime?


They wanted too much for it Friday. What a difference a day makes!

aside from being in great shape, the interesting thing is that it has no internal dividers, and never did.

VINTAGE 50's or 60's P&C TOOL DISPLAY BOARDS-HARDWARE STORE DISPLAY-PLOMB-PROTO- | eBay

The boards are 24" long and 11 3/4" wide. Boards show staining of blue paint, crazing of the clear finish and tiny pin holes from old wires that long ago held one sample tool to each individual location on the board.

I found these two P&C sockets at yesterday’s sale. The 8 point 9/16” socket looks to be one that is missing from Don Long’s board.
The ever popular early 31-32” socket.
Don, if you still need the 9/16” socket give me a holler and I’ll get it headed your way.
