PAC air compressor?

I have this compressor available to me.

No idea on size, other than 175psi shut off, with a Dayton 5hp 240v motor.

Anyone ever heard of this brand? I can't find anything on Google.

I suspect PAC is a dealer, not a brand. Possibly Pacific Air Compressor, but who knows. That looks like a Quincy 325 pump on there, but I don't think it's original to the tank.

They are wanting $400, was in a service shop running 4 lines all day for no clue on how long.

I can tell you for sure that I'd hate to be handling that top-heavy sonofagun with a hand truck.

Go hear it run. Time how long it takes to fill tank from empty.

If no knocks or problems, then snag it !! Quincy pump will last a lifetime.

Mount it on a pallet to transport. Negotiate the price a bit, then SHOW US the PIC's of compressor in your shop !!
